2. Acceptance
By using FILEZY you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
3. The service
FILEZY provides free online tools for working with PDF files and images. The tools run in your web browser on your own device. We do not receive your files.
4. Your responsibilities
- Only process files you own or have the right to use.
- Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or to infringe anyone’s rights.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer for malicious purposes or abuse the website.
- Keep copies of your original files. Always check results before relying on them.
5. Limits
Because processing uses your device, limits apply: PDFs up to 100 MB, images up to 25 MB, and 250 MB per task. Performance depends on your device and browser.
6. Passwords and encryption
The Protect PDF tool encrypts files using the PDF standard’s AES-256 algorithm. We never receive your password and cannot recover or reset it. If you lose it, the file may be permanently inaccessible. Encryption protects a file only as well as the password you choose.
7. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that results are error-free, that every PDF can be processed or compressed, or that output will be compatible with every software version. Statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data, profits or indirect damages arising from use of the service. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health).
9. Intellectual property
Your files remain yours; we claim no rights in them. The FILEZY name, logo, design and software (excluding open-source components, which keep their own licences) belong to the operator.
10. Advertising and third parties
The website may display advertising and link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
11. Changes and availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue the service or these terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law, without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. If you have a complaint, please write to us first at the email address below so we can try to resolve it.
